Extending on their established partnership with Qantas, Australian-based global sports and entertainment marketplace Fan+ have announced a close tie-in between the two parties.
Fan+ is a platform where fans can buy and request unique sporting experiences with clubs and individual athletes and now the platform is listed on the airline’s ‘shopping mall’ which gives shoppers a chance to earn Qantas Points when they purchase a sporting experience..
With this partnership it seems there are greater synergies between the two businesses. In 2018, Fan+ was selected to be part of Qantas’ AVRO accelerator program that gave participants the opportunity to work with Qantas Group business units to develop, incubate and scale their businesses.
In a press release, founder and CEO of Fan+, Rod Harys, said: “This is a great opportunity for FAN+ to give our customer’s an extra offering leading into Christmas, we are thrilled to be working closely with Qantas and kick this opportunity off.”
