In an expansion of their digital tech stack offering, digital solutions provider Stack Sports have announced that they are providing ecommerce and online shopping solutions to 14 of the 18 AFL professional clubs, having expanded from a portfolio of eight clubs.
Powering Stack’s ability to deploy an ecommerce solution with their AFL club partners is their own major partnership with SaaS ecommerce platform, BigCommerce.
Stack were already working with a number of AFL clubs by offering an online auction platform for their fundraising and charitable efforts.
Stack Sports’ Director of Digital in APAC/EMEA, Anthony Richardson, said in a press release: “In addition to working with more AFL clubs, we are particularly proud that our offering allows each club the opportunity to retain a larger share of their sales from their official online store.”
Stack announced that 10 clubs have already launched their new online shops, with four more clubs planning to launch their new stores by Christmas.
