Plattar is the augmented reality platform designed to enhance customer experiences. Its strongest advantage is that it is an accessible and scalable solution for brands, marketers and rights holders to develop lively marketing campaigns for fans and consumers.
We put a few quick questions to Jonathan Keyse of Plattar.
There’s a lot of opportunities for Plattar, you could go the experiential route or retail as some examples. What are you targeting and how do you maintain focus when there’s plenty of opportunities?
Jonathan Keyse: “What we’re targeting is product experiences and how we maintain focus is to ensure it’s providing value and utility to the end user. As long as we’re doing those things then it will be easier for us to get clients and sell our solutions to them.”
In your Fast-Track introduction you mentioned tourism and working with Qatar Airport, describe the types of ways Plattar can boost marketing to consumers?
JK: “A lot of it will be across the product experiences life-cycle. There’s the attraction marketing piece, the ‘try-on’ demonstration piece and the next piece of the puzzle is helping people use the product, providing user guides that are on the product itself instead of someone needing to read a manual and look at a whole lot of information, being able to empower that user to basically set it up correctly and upskill them quickly. The next step from there is supporting and maintenance empowering people to upskill themselves of a particular process really quickly.”
What competitors do you have and how do you differentiate yourself in a burgeoning market?
JK: “Everyone is trying to find their market fit and there’s a landscape out there where everything is moving a lot, technology is moving a lot. We’re obviously in Australia so we don’t have many competitors in our space, they tend to be international companies, as far as defending our space we identified the web and being accessible on it as a point of difference and that’s what we need to maintain our focus on.”
